Committee Introduction: The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is a United Nations agency that aims to eradicate illicit drugs and international crime, in addition to being responsible for implementing the United Nations lead program on terrorism. The agency was established in 1997 as the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention and was renamed to its current title in 2002. The UNODC’s headquarters are located in Vienna, Austria, and it has 20 field offices covering over 150 countries.
