My name is Efe Birkan. I am studying Industrial Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. This is going to be my 3^rd year at Ekin JMUN.

I have been attending MUN conferences since 7^th grade. When I first heard about MUN at Ekin College, I never thought that it would be irrevocable for my life. By being a part of MUN, I have gained self-confidence, awareness about global issues and developed public speaking and debating skills. I have attended many international conferences such as Harvard MUN, Yale MUN, Ivy League MUN, SAIMUN and TIMUN in various positions including Chair/President, Ambassador and Delegate.

This year, our agenda is comprised of many significant topics, and  I am confident that these controversial issues will lead to a very high-level of debate with efficient and innovative solutions. I urge all delegates to read the research reports, prepare well in order for us to make the most of our precious time.
